Elizabeth Handtke is a law clerk and a rising legal professional currently pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at Santa Clara University School of Law. She currently serves as a Notes Editor for Santa Clara Law Review. Elizabeth also gained experience in estate planning and criminal law while completing other internships and clerkships.

During her time as a law clerk for Temmerman, Cilley, & Kohlmann, Elizabeth drafted estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance health care directives. She also prepared court documents for conservatorships and probate proceedings, assisted with trust administration, and conducted relevant legal research.


Additionally, Elizabeth interned at the Law Offices of Latimer &  Kenkel, where she assisted with discovery and organized documents in various criminal defense cases. She researched legal topics and presented her findings during office meetings, all while handling sensitive information with a high level of discretion. Elizabeth’s diverse legal experience and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to our team.
